Simon Home Run

We had the privilege of supporting the Dublin Simon Community by actively participating in Simon Home Run, on Saturday, 7th October.
The highlight of the day was celebrating the remarkable achievements of our colleagues who participated in the run:
- Andreea Corina Moraru: One of our exceptional runners completed the race in an impressive 51 minutes. But her journey didn't end there! After conquering the run, Andreea continued to showcase her dedication by swiftly heading to her swimming class.
- Dillon Reid: He had an amazing time, where he not only got to meet a lot of interesting people but also enjoyed the beautiful nature around Phoenix Park. Deer was even running alongside them towards the end of the race! Dillon continued walking for the rest of the day, totaling 20km before getting home. He's already looking forward to coming back next year!
- Jean-Sebastien Charles (JS): Achieved an outstanding time of 37 minutes and 44 seconds! Not only did he showcase exceptional speed, but he also displayed remarkable conversational skills by engaging with fellow runners along the way. He even had a chat with a runner who answered their doorbell at home while still running – a testament to JS's running and conversational skills!
- Iryna Chereshchuk: As a volunteer, she was responsible for accepting and storing the backpacks and belongings of the run's participants. It was a fascinating experience of people-watching, even if the interactions were brief. All participants shared a common desire - to immerse themselves in the race's vibrant atmosphere. After the race, everyone, without exception, was tired, but the joy in their eyes was unmistakable!
- Finally, Zsuzsanna Borbely: In her role as a volunteer, Zsuzsanna collaborated with the Garda to assist with traffic diversion at a junction. She found it to be an incredible experience, witnessing the determination of the runners as they passed by and offering enthusiastic cheers of encouragement to our colleagues participating in the run
