Food packaging testing

Eurofins offers accredited food packaging testing suites including overall and specific migration testing from the full range of packaging materials into simulants for all types of food or beverage. Eurofins also offer a organoleptic/sensory tests for packaging materials, compositional and physical analysis which will allow packaging product and food producers to comply with framework regulations EC 1935/2004 and EC 2023/2006 for articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs, specific directives on plastic and other packaging materials as well as the waste directive 94/62 EC controlling the levels of certain heavy metals in packaging material.
